Eberhard Kranemann is a key artist in the early development of Krautrock, end 1960’s. He was born on March 7th, 1945 in Wismar, Germany. He was a founding member of Kraftwerk (1967-’71) and worked with NEU ! in the early 1970’s. With Florian Schneider-Esleben (Kraftwerk) he formed Piss Off in the ’60’s with which he did performances with Joseph Beuys. He collaborated with Conny Plank on his 1977 album Fritz Müller Rock. Eberhard Kranemann is a multimedia artist. In addition to works from the traditional fields of painting, graphics and sculpture, he makes installations, photo montages, photo painting, video works, sound installations and performances.

The music contained in this publication was perceived and recorded in 1973, after Kranemann’s collaboration with KRAFTWERK (1967-1971) and NEU! (1972). The music is a genuine mix between the music and sound of both groups at that time (think Kraftwerk 1 & 2 LP’s and first LP of NEU!) and therefor an important document for everyone who’s interested in this era German experimental music.

Rumor has it that several members of Kraftwerk are involved.
