Thierry Müller is a multi-instrumentalist composer, whose Ilitch and Ruth projects are recognized in the independent and international underground scene.
He uses unconventional guitars as well as keyboards and other electronic devices to create unusual textures and sounds. Parisian graphic designer, he began making recordings in the early 1970s using prepared guitars, harmonium and tape recorders as instruments.
Since 1978, his albums with multiple and unclassifiable universes have been described as “Cult” by personalities like Tim Gane, Lee Ranaldo, Steven Stapleton, Edward Ka-Spel…). He has collaborated on albums or live with, among others, Valentina Fanigliulo (Mushy, Phantom Love), Nick Littlemore (Empire Of The Sun, Pnau), Aaron Moore (Volcano The Bear), Jac Berrocal, Quentin Rollet, Pepe Wismeer …

Artwork description:
Each exemplar contains a black three sided gatefold with die-cut letters on the front, with inside a title sheet with liner notes, a printed collage in edition of five and an inlay with examples of other artwork. Plus a coupon for a digital download of the same music and another extra item. Each exemplar contains one of the five series of collages, each in edition of five. Arsenije Jovanovic´ Theatre, radio and television director, composer, writer, audio-art author in the acoustic media continuously from the middle sixties. Born 1932. in Belgrade. Until the brake of the war in ex-Yugoslavia, university professor at Academy of Theatre Arts in Belgrade. Fulbright scholar and visiting professor at State University of New York at Albany USA. Initiator of the sound workshop at Kunstradio – ORF in the very beginning of the Kunstradio, initiator of a sound workshop at Media Arts Center at the University of Sydney, organizing sound workshops in Finland and Faroe Island 1999. Producing numerous sound projects in the studios of Radio France (ACR), RAI, YLESIRADIO, ORF-KUNSTRADIO, SFB, WDR-STUDIO AKUSTISCHE KUNST, ABC-SYDNEY, RADIO BELGRADE, RADIO-ZAGREB, RADIO-SARAJEVO  and  other. Founder of the Adriatic Sound Factory, sound laboratory settled in Rovinj, Istria, Croatia. 

AWARDS: Prix Italia in the category of stereo work for the “Tombstones along the Roadside”, Venice. 1971., Prix Italia for the “Resava Cave”, Venice, 1977., Premio Ondas for “Resava cave”, Barcelona,  1978. Premio Ondas for “Along the Long Long Street”, together with Ms. Neda Depolo, Barcelona, “Finalist award” for “Homo Politikus Vulgaris” at “New York radio art festival”, New York, 1992., First prize for “Concerto Grosso Balcanico”, International radio festival in Rust (Austria), Grand prix Radio France International for “La parata” Palmares, France, 1997., Prize EX EQUO with Ilinka Čolić Jovanovic, three time winner for his compositions at Mexican International Radio festival, his “Prophecy of the Serbian Village Kremna” was one of the sound tracks in the film “The Thin Red Line” by Terrence Malick, USA, 1998. From that film on Malick used fragments from Arsenije’s electro-acoustic compositions in al his films until today except in ”The new World”.

Faunophonia Balkanica won the Prix Acustica prize – WDR, Studio Akustische Kunst Germany 1990.
